RoundUps Program Details

Qualifications: 
To qualify for the "RoundUps" program, you must have a membership share savings account, a qualifying Simplicity Credit Union checking account, a Visa debit card, and be enrolled eStatements.

Some Simplicity CU checking accounts don't qualify for the "RoundUps" program and those are: Health Savings Accounts, Money Market, Business Checking, and Organizational Checking, (Memberships set up as UTMA (Uniform Transfers to Minors Act) Custodial also do not qualify for the "RoundUps" program.)

Enrollment: 
You can enroll or cancel enrollment in Simplicity Credit Union's "RoundUps" program in person or over the phone with a Member Service Representative. Enrollment is associated with the checking account, and the program applies to all active debit cards associated with the enrolled checking account. 

Program Details: 
After enrollment, each purchase using your Simplicity CU Visa debit card will be rounded up to the nearest whole dollar and the rounded amount will be transferred from the checking account attached to the debit card into the regular savings account under the same membership. Each rounded amount will be added up and transferred in one total deposit to the savings at the end of the day. The transfer description on the transaction will read: DEBIT CARD ROUND UP WDL TRANSFERRED TO ACCT# XXX 

When do transfers occur? 
Transfers will be completed separately at the end of each day. If the available balance of the checking account is less than the aggregated transfer amount, the transfer will not occur. 

What transactions qualify? 
Purchases run as debit or credit made with a Simplicity Credit Union debit card attached to a checking account enrolled in the "RoundUps" program. ATM transactions and whole dollar transactions do not qualify and will not generate transfers.
